MY XJ is sporting a mystery M/C that has now gone 'soft'. I think it's from a Kawasaki and it looks to be 5/8" bore (approx 16mm)
It only has two seals that apper to be the main 'plunger' and another that I assume is to stop the fluid leaking out at the lever end.

Since it's hard to know what rebuild kit to buy, and cos I'm mean, what would be the issue on renewing just the main plunger seal that has a nipple that locates on the return spring? The cylinder wasn't leaking and teh otehr componentt appear to be in good health...
