Door frame - floor uneven

I'm fitting an exterior door to my back alley. I've offered up the frame and found the walls straight but the floor's got a bit of a slope. To get the sill level I need to raise one side up ~40mm.

Would the best approach be to frame out the shape of the sill and use self levelling compound?

You'd usually plane the bottom of the door until it fits.

Would rising hinges help, not quite sure which bit isn't fitting from what you have written.

Yeah, I'll have to take some photos. I'm conscious of Nobby's point but levelling the area leading up to the door is about 2m², probably stretching my DIY skills.

On the other hand, once the door's in place I can just wait till the wife kicks off about tripping over the sill to finish levelling the rest of the area At the moment she's muttering about wasting time on the sill... "just fill the gap with foam, ffs"

Maybe easier to demolish downstairs and rebuild.
