Hi

I've got a cb600f (F2) Hornet with a meta 3 alarm. I bought the bike with the alarm fitted 6 months ago and it has been reasonably trouble free until now.

When I put the bike on it's side stand and let the alarm activate it will be okay for a few moments then irregularly give half beeps (as if someone has bumbed against it). If I switch the nudge detection off the alarm is fine. Anyone know what this could be?

It's going in for a major service next month, would a garage charge me for looking at this problem?

Thanks

You can adjust the sensitivity of the Float system inside the alarm box, thats what controls the motion sensors, All the data should be stored in the manual if it isnt give "Meta" a ring and they can help you over the phone.

Sorry the info is a little vague Laughing but you threw me when u said data tool meta 3...as far as i know data tool and Meta are different brands Laughing

I had a similar problem with my first data tool (evo summin) on my last bike turned out to be a faulty earth connection...if u have too much problems they should send out an engineer...provided u sent off your registration documents for the alarm when u had it fitted.

All the best

U cant adjust the motion sensors of the alarm on that perticullar module your gunna need one of there engineers to do it as its a wiring issue.

Be worth having a look through the user guide on the Datatool website.
