Absolutely. The first time I was in a position to be insuring more than one vehicle I looked at multicar/fleet insurance, assuming that's how it would work. But no, the separate policies were full price, with effectively a small discount added in for having two policies. And I ended up getting cheaper by going to two different companies for the two vehicles anyway! |
That is also the case for my cars. Their age and use and storage all vary wildly so a single policy would never be able to beat three seperate policies, but 6 bikes are £127 a year for me on one multibike policy. You can't really get cheaper than £40 or £50 for a single motorcycle policy, so for decrepid old bikes it is certainly worth it. Saves my mind on noting dates and remembering renewals etc too. ____________________ CBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11

Just got my renewal in from Bennetts. 74% increase 7 years NCD. Low mileage, middle aged commuter with clean licence. Not sure I can justify the £640 for kicks. |
