Ferry to Bilbao > Jaca > Castajon de Sos > Vias Plage (35 degC) > Chamonix > Bourges > Alencon > Cherbourg Ferry back.

1800 miles with a mix of camping/hotels and 4 cable cars!

Me and my 85Kg 16 yr old son aboard my Tracer 700.

No videos, only a few photos but many memories.

1 sole mechanical issue - engine management light came on towards the end of the tour. No noticeable change in the bike. Poor mpg average for the trip (30) but thats due to the significant extra weight and mountain riding. Back to 65 mpg for me on my own.

Sounds like a fun trip. Where did you get the ferry from?

One day I'll get to doing some touring around Europe.

Outbound was Portsmouth to Bilbao. £400 for me, my boy, my moto and outside 4 berth cabin.
Inbound was Cherbourg to Poole. £100

34 hours out (faster ships do it in about 24).

5 hours back.
