The key cover tab on my fuel tank cap is stuck open (See Picture) using a lot of force (But not as to break it) it will not move. How can this be fixed/what has bust?

Just a guess here But the Flap Must have a Pivot point on the Opposite side of were you can see . Most likely Spring loaded and the Spring has Failed. Remove the six allen Key bolts and lift up the filler Cap from the Tank and you will have a Clear view of what the Problem is , Be aware if it is spring loaded the Spring will make a break for Freedom so take it very slowly

Bonus points are available for saying what your bike is.

Exploded diagrams can be helpful when taking it apart to find out if something is broken or if something is stuck for whatever reason. If something is broken then exploded diagrams have part number so you can order a replacement part.
