So bike is totally dead, nothing at all working when hooked up to power? No lights, no clicks?
When you say you tested the ignition plug with a multimeter, do you mean you checked there was power being supplied to the ignition switch and power getting through it in the on position?
Start simple. Make sure the kill switch isn't in the stop position (don't be cross, it happens all the time). Although you should still have dash lights. Also make sure you're connecting your jump start the right way round with regard to polarity.
If you have power at the ignition key switch and power after it, next stop is the fuse box, that would be the next logical thing to check. Look for blown fuses and check the fuses have power going to them. If people have been habitually jump starting it off a car, there's a fair chance of blown fuses ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen.
