I couldn't help thinking his "Drill baby drill" was like emperor Nero, fiddling while rome burns.

He's going to drill for more oil while large chunks of his country are literally on fire.

I liked the bit when the protestors stormed the Capitol building...

Funny how almost nobody turned up for such an action this time. Either people in general believed the results were legitimate, the reaction by the establishment to the last "insurrection" has had an extreme chilling effect on protesting or the enthusiasm for freedom is inversely proportional to how nippy it is outside.

Or maybe the Left only turn up when they get paid Thinking

And people who have been suckered into Trumps/Musks BS will be blind to the obvious.

When I read about it, I thought it couldn't possibly be that bad but I am now unsure how anyone can deny it. You could see himself build the confidence to do it, even gave a little "umph" noise.

Such a shame as I am a massive fan of what SpaceX has done/is doing.

If you can show me a video of Obama performing a Nazi salute, not just a well(or not well) timed photograph, you may have a point.

Maybe not from the past week specifically but there are plenty of comparisons that are quite indepth.

S.Africa went from the most developed country on the continent, to one with regular blackouts, mass unemployment, epidemic levels of rape and murder, lynchings (weird I thought they only happened in the deep south)...

Blacks cause the most knife crime in London - true- but you are racist for saying that.
Muslims have abused white children with grooming gangs - true - but you are racist saying that.

Racism is the easiest way to try and stop people talking about any group other then white however disgusting they are or what they do.

That's exactly what they're trying to make illegal. There was a case earlier this year, where they didn't refute the accuracy of what was being shared, they said all the 'speech' was legal under UK law, but still racisms so off to prison you go.

Trump is not going to drill for anything because he doesn't get his hands dirty.
The oil industry are unlikely to take him up on his rhetoric because it is already supplying the demands of the US - only a stupid businessman who makes a habit of going bankrupt would think that oil corporations would voluntarily take a hit on their profits by increasing supply in a sated market.

If that's the case, why did the Biden administration put so many hurdles in front of oil and gas extractors? Still, I suppose it's like the Labour government's pledge to build more houses: sounds good but unless you're going to mandate construction, ultimately empty promises.

Overall I guess the messaging is "this president isn't going to spend the next 4 year at the beach eating ice cream!" At some point though one of these executive orders are going to face hard resistance. People often try to talk up civil war in the US but they always picture Red vs. Blue. The real civil war will be Trump vs. his own government, specifically federal employees.
