Sat waiting for the roofer to show up this morning, just watching youtube vids.

I saw someone stride past the front window towards the front door. Someone wearing tan coloured clothes.

The two Bassets were asleep on the sofa, but the wolfhound got up off the floor and went to look out of the window.

Thinking it was the roofer arriving early, I went to the front door..

There was nobody there. The only way out of the front was via the gate and that was closed.... The time between losing sight out the front window and seeing out of the front door window was less than a second.
It would take a good ten or fifteen seconds to leave the front door and get out of the gate. I opened the door in five.

Whooisit. Whereyagone? The second witness to the oddity.

Probably one of your 'vast majority' which is apparently imaginary.

Nobby considering another admonishment...

A few months back I added a cheap home security camera, ostensibly to watch my bike, but it has "AI-powered human detection" Shocked (In reality it just boxes off movement, tall narrow boxes are reasoned to be people.) Anyhoo, dispels all doubt in such cases.

She is daddies girl. A wolfhound is not a lap dog. But when they suddenly decide they want to be, there is pretty much nothing you can do. They do not jump on the sofa as much as merely walk onto it.

She loves watching telly.

Think of the Simpsons couch on steroids...

She is our third wolfhound. Absolutely lovely dogs and very gentle giants.

Admonishment duly delivered... In its rightful place.

Those big dogs don't live long. 7-10 years.
