Hey folks, I'm contemplating a new bike. I used to ride an R1 but have had a few years out. I would prefer a naked bike now which is enjoyable when pootling around but is also very effective to launch off the lights. Not bothered about silly top speeds )it is a naked) but want some punch and a decent soundtrack.

Low seat height is a preferance (or easily adjusted to be so aftermarket)

Yamaha MT10/8/7?
Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory
BMW S1000R

What else should I consider? Street Triples? Buying used probably 4-5 years old range.

Thanks

I may have got some of the names wrong, are they not all nakeds? Probably the mT7/8 are the odd ones on that list as not in the same category as others power wise.

Tuono does NOT Have a low seat by any measure so discard that one now.

MT09s have a surprisingly high seat too... so I'd assume the same is true for an MT10.

Personally (and I may be biassed) I'd be looking at a 765 Street Triple, or if that's out of budget a later 675. They are definitely fast enough, lots of fun (amazing handling) and pretty comfortable.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

MT07 has plenty of take-off torque versus the Deliveroo crowd.
