Sl falco new starter sounds weird

Just got a new starter for my aprilia falco . I've installed it but it sounds totally different to the original one .

There's no grinding or knock it's like it's screaming it's knackers off

I've upgraded all the starter wiring from the battery along with a new 150amp starter selanoid and new starter .

Does this starter sound alright ?
