Cooper racks attach to the flange as a rule and not the ball
and are touted to cope with 'up to 110kg or 120 kg some models..
but point taken
My other approach was to DIY - starting with one of the bolt on step things and build off that with an aluminium ramp (or parts thereof).

Hope Technical used to make a then call eth 'rac n roll' carrier which looks ideal only they stopped making them. ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750

I agree its a bit counter intuitive . There are though some additional holes on the end plates of my tow bar that could be used, along with some steel bar, to bear extra load if required ____________________ Now: A100, GT250A, XJ598, FZ750
