With the budget coming on Wednesday and probably rises in fuel duty I wonder if we will get a run on the petrol stations on Tuesday?

I don't use much fuel nowadays but if you have a long commute or use a vehicle for working it could impact you with availability if the normal panic buying occurs. I'm not panic buying tomorrow, that's for certain. Cool

Probably because I filled up all out vehicles yesterday!! Laughing

edited to add - How long does it take for changes in duty to be implemented?

If so I'll feel smug about buying the new bike

(ignoring the fact that it'll still take years to pay back the cost of the bike based on mpg difference between car & bike) Smile

I'm not bothered about my bike, filled to the brim the other day, 7 litres. Stick a quid of duty on, I wouldn't care.

The old Skoda on the other hand... I think it's about a quarter full at the moment. I wasn't going to fill up this week but now I might bring my plans forward Smile

If it goes up. Instantly. If it goes down. Never.

Hopefully you lot will get taxed just like ICE vehicles because it's all a game of thrones. Electric vehicles are the future, Rolling Eyes Of course they are.

Sometimes it's good to be wrong Smile

Hybrid company cars are getting a kick in the BIKs, if that's any consolation.
