Unfortunately I have to leave her outside & my £26 Halfords cover has expired twice now & i'm desperate to find something a little hardier for this crap winter weather.

Your help is appreciated.

Expired how?
I used Halfords covers for years until I got a garage. They did the job. I would remove them during mild Winter periods to circulate some air and drive out damp but the underneath used to attract spider’s webs and leaves. I think that’s the best you can do.

Wind (lots of) Snow (v heavy) Engine (v hot)

Yeah the last one is my fault but if i don't put it on when I get home it won't go on at all, and what the scrotes can't see they can't get any dumb ideas about taking.

I'm currently a fan of MotoGP covers. A combination of an outer "space suit foil" layer and some sort of textile underneath. They only last a year or two, factor that in.

Textile covers seem to be few and far between though!

Because they rot. A lot of preservative chemicals have been banned.

I've been using JDC covers ofn that ebay for the last few years
and they've been holding up pretty well for the price.
They have elasticated skirts with pull strings and vents and when
properly snugged up, dont get blown off in high winds.
The ten quid specials didn't last a summer in comparison.
I suggested them to a mate with 3 bikes and he's been pretty pleased with them too.
Around £25 as I recall

I've always used the Oxford Aquatex covers because they're cheap and pack up small if you have to take them with you. However they only last a year or two before the UV and wind rips them apart.

More recently I purchased an Oxford Rainex and was impressed how much more substantial the cover feels. The material is heavier and lined on the inside with a soft layer. However it's not as breathable as the cheaper covers and I haven't seen what full summer sun will do to it.
