I have one of these m'boards at work that I'm planning to repatriate
for home use..

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z390-A-PRO/Specification

Its in a bulky tower case right now with a 450W PSU and a fancy additional graphics card (not needed by me) - Is there a slimline case I could transfer it to? I know it's an ATX board board but is it mini midi full or ??

Any advice gratefully received.

Cheers

Not much you can do with a full-sized ATX board to make it compact for a reasonable price. By all means have a look here:

https://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/cases/all

or

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/cases-and-modding/pc-cases

Actual compact full ATX cases are a bit specialised, for example:

https://www.sfftime.com/p-atx

Or you could look at 1U/2U server "blade" cases, e.g.

https://www.servercase.co.uk/shop/server-cases/rackmount/1u-chassis/

Midi is generally what most home computers are and used to be. . 3/4 5.25" drive and 2x 3.5" drives plus 1/2 hdd mounts within.

Full towers are at least 2 feet tall in order to accomodate devices.
