Looking at buying a TS125ER field bike for my daughter so will need to put it back on the road. Can anyone do a HPI and confirm the registration number? I’ve seen on here that a guy called Yodi used to do this but I’ve messaged him and I don’t think he is on here anymore

by confirm...do you mean you have a reg. number already and you want to check if it matches the frame number? or do you only have a frame number and trying to figure out what the registration plate is/was?

Good luck, friend of mine has a TS100ERZ that used to be registered but he has no plate for. He's finding it extremely difficult to get any reliable date to re-register the thing.

If you search on facebook there's lots of pages on there of people that will do this for you.
https://www.facebook.com/vin2reg.co.uk

I'm trying to do this with my KE100 but having no luck. Struggling to even get a year of manufacture certificate for it so I can apply for a new reg instead. Definitely not a good idea to buy it unless you know for sure you can get the reg

I think Carvertical will do it with a VIN number... but they are on the pricier side of HPI checks.

There is a website for BMW bikes that you put your VIN and it tells you when and to what spec your bike was built to. It doesn't tell you the registration number as it's based on manufacturing information, but you will now know the exact build date, model etc which will help your case when dealing with the DVLA.

Maybe something similar exists for other makes?

But the car vertical ads aren't as good as square space.

I mean with square space you can get a 14 day free trial and use their website building tool to build your very own site where people can get an HPI check with only the VIN. You can use the calendar to plan when people get their HPI checks. Head to https://squarespace.com/mattjones to save 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain using code MATTJONES.

Well, I just stumbled on this: https://www.vinreport.co.uk/

I thought I'd just follow it through to see how much it wer like, but as if by magic, up popped the reg as part of the "pre-report". It took me to carvertical after that but I closed the tab, job done. Now to find a chequeueue to go with the V62.
