So, I haven’t ridden in almost 10 years and I miss it.

My last bike was an MT07 and I would love to jump on to a Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX.

Now, not wanting to become a statistic, I’ve been looking at refresher courses but wondered if I can basically just do the CBT again and go out for the day or is that what the refresher courses are? I’d like to spend some time on a 125/250 and get used to being on a bike again before spending a bit of time on a 5-600.

Basically, hello again! I’ve missed you all. Where do I start?

Welcome back.

I had 10 years away from riding the Pan

Last year I decided to start again and bought a little 750cc scoot.

Hoping to get the Pan roadworthy again this summer.

Welcome back to the world of Biking.

I took 15 years off ... Life Happens .... kept my OLD bike and just started to ride again, on the same bike, a 750.

TBH I was a bit wary the first time I pulled away from the curb ... but as long as your sensible and realise you've got to get back into the groove I think you'd be OK.

Took it easy for the first couple of rides and then started to increase speeds and lean, now I'm pretty much the same idiot I used to be. Very Happy

Good luck. Cheers. Chequered Flag

Call up your local riding school and talk to them. A day out with an instructor on one of their bigger bikes should get you back in the groove.

Then buy whatever you want. You're a grownup, you know how to use the brakes.
