Has anyone owned/ridden one?
I've been on 4 wheels for the past 10 years but fancy a weekend toy now for some fun and games.

Previous bikes were:
Honda H100
Aprilia RS 125.
Kawasaki ER6N
Honda CBR 600RR
Aprilia RSVR 1000.

I've sold loads, many went on the track for super twins

teach you a lot about holding corner speed

very early bikes recalled for new engines as the rods weren't heat treated, won't be any around that haven't been fixed

mid 2023 they had a batch with dodgy water pump seal, again they will all be fixed by now

if used on the track I've seen one that the oil pressure regulator dropped off in the sump which killed the entire engine, but never on a road bike, to fix this it needs lockwiring with the sump off

plastic tank, not yet an issue, E5 so no venting through cap and one or two had issues with tank pressure

as for racing they're pretty safe standard or with a full system sub 100hp at the back wheel but those who've tuned then above that have destroyed many engines

12k valve service a bit fiddly as you have to remove the cam wheel bolts which are obscured by the frame and then wind the cam to relieve pressure on the valves before removing it

That's helpful. Thanks.
