Hey everyone,

I'm hoping some of you experienced MT-03 owners or mechanics might be able to shed some light on a persistent issue I'm having.

I own a 2006 Yamaha MT-03 660, and it's throwing up the fault code (24) for the EX Cam Position Sensor.

I've had a couple of mechanics look at it, but so far, they haven't been able to pinpoint or fix the problem. It's really frustrating as I'm keen to get it sorted.

Has anyone encountered this specific fault code on their MT-03 before? If so, what was the resolution?

I'm open to any suggestions on what I (or a mechanic) should be checking.
Any ideas, tips, or diagnostic steps would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

check the wiring for the sensor and give the sensor a clean.

interesting.
The official 2006 Yamaha mt03 pdf for service information does not mention a fault code 24.

The only place I can find a fault code 24 to refer to exhaust cam is in the MARINE engine ECU.

For generic yamaha motorcycle ecu, fault code 24 is a missing/faulty o2 sensor.

while your on .. check voltage out-put .. low voltage for any reason can make sensors temperamental ..
