Are you saying the splitter duplicates the HDMI signal? Your video card sounds like it wants to communicate with a single display device, it won't be expecting two! The splitter would therefore need to prioritise which one is "real" and all your computer sees, and which is the clone.
Probably your old computer didn't query the display device so didn't care as much. I'd suggest trying a different brand of "splitter" (actually a 1 to 2 mirror device) that knows about "Extended Display Identification Data" (EDID) or see if you can disable EDID on your new computer. A quick search says lots of ppl have the same problem with Windows 11 ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |
