Your favourite stand-up comedy entertainer (on line) is who?

no particular favourite. find modern comedians to be mostly shite.
like older stuff like Chubby Brown, Bernard Manning, Billy Connolly.

I don't find many comedians or comedy programmes funny nowadays. Gone are the days of Monty Python, the early Spitting Image, Blackadder, Connolly, Last of the Summer Wine, The two Ronnies. etc. I always found Alf Garnet funny but I'd probably be incarcerated for laughing at that now.

I honestly can't think of a modern comedy show or comedian I'd go out of my way to watch.

Don't know who many of them are nowadays.

But I've always been very partial to Hugh Laurie who not only rides motorcycles and affected that hilariously cute American accent in House which made an entertaining change from his "posh twat" comic persona, but also manages a fairly decent blues tune on the piano.

In keeping with my fondness for burly wankers, I am also rather taken by Greg Davies, I wouldn't mind nibbling on that one's knee caps *wibble* but I don't really count him as a comedian, just a rather dishy smart arse who got lucky.

Stephen Fry, who I purposely refused to admit publicly that I admired his huge intelligence and quick wit - due to him being such a omniprescence and everybody loved him, so of course Contrary Jen refused to admit she was going along with the general crowd opinion - but actually he's one of the few media poofs that I don't mind.

Ignacio Lopez
Ross Noble
Bill Bailey
Sarah Milican (Can be a bit... feminine hygiene based perhaps but still funny)
Greg Davies

Myself and the other half have been to see all of them live, and they are all amazing. Bill Bailey does amazing things with music as well as the comedy act - come to think of it, so does Ignacio Lopez.

I'm sure we've seen more but I can't think who else off the top of my head.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
