Now that Mutt have ceased trading, it's impossible to get spare parts as the official website has gone.

I need a new front brake lever. I imagine it's probably fairly generic ...but how could i find out what other make or model lever would fit?

Generic fo sho
I'd start by looking at CMPO and Ebay, the obvious ones first.
Then mebbe chinese bike sites to try and find what factory made the Mutt and what other models it's been sold as.

Id be amazed if the MUtt uses unique parts

I've managed to avoid facebook for over 7 years now, so that'd be a last resort i think.

Bit of a late update... but i found one at a very reasonable price from these guys;

DB Custom Works

https://www.facebook.com/61575162867349/

(i'm hoping that's the right addy as i don't do facebook so can't check)

They were really helpful and friendly, and didn't charge any more than i would've had to pay Mutt direct.

I've since sold the bike btw, and for a change, made a nice little profit on it too.

https://mutt-parts.com/product/mpt-0253-front-brake-lever/

That's the one you want. Wink

According to the internet, all the stock of parts were bought by Motorcycle Part Warehouse and they're now running the mutt parts website.

Annoyingly, Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act only comes into play for purchases over £100 so should a purchase go wrong you'd be reliant on your card issuer to do a chargeback. They have the paypal logo on the website but when you go to the checkout there isn't an option to pay by paypal. Rolling Eyes

As that mutt-parts.com page lists which bikes that brake lever is for, if you search for mutt front brake lever on eBay then there's loads on there which would fit your Mutt Mastiff.
