my NSR italian JC22A*** foxeye (which I've been told it doesn't have a cdi restriction)
I've done about 4000km with a malossi 180cc, 34mm PWK, and a jolly 401 exhaust. although it gets to 130kph really fast, but the revs cut at 8k-9k, I disabled/removed the powervalve and the exhaust valve when installed all the parts, and the powerband is from 5-6k rpm to 8-9k, I believe the CDi is restricting, or it could be a combination of cylinder, exhaust and jets

Looking to all the cdi information forums I cannot find the exact cdi number that everyone has, mine it says CI62 that's it! and below it says ''o'' and below that it says '241''.
I've seen on spanish forums that their nsr was cdi limited and that they had to cut one cable inside the cdi, but it is not easy to do.

Is my cdi restricting? I'm thinking about installing ITALKIT Racing Ignition Kit Fixed Curve Ø58mm NSR125 (this is my last resort because it will disable lights). Or this one Ignitech DC-CDI-P2 Honda 125 NSR JC22. I can't find any other solution...

Also all the photos or videos that show how to open the cdi and cut the cable are no longer hosted, I've only seen a blurry photo on where did they open the cdi.

Is Alain still around? need help!

Ignitech are well known and their products programmable, giving every opportunity to extract 'Moar Powah' from you machine, if you know what you're doing, or alternatively completely fuck it up .

Good luck.

Have you checked it on a dyno to see what it's doing? It could be going mega rich at top end rather than a CDI restriction.

As my old boss always said - "don't guess - know".
