This just happens to be my birthday and with big protests kicking off on that date this year it's going to be a very special and emotional day for me. Anyone else going out to stand in unity for the UK?

I've just heard this tune too supposedly the "anthem" for the day and although the intro is a bit cheesy it turns into a bloody powerful tune with strong lyrics. I'm a bit teary eyed right now Brick Wall

I must have missed that memo. What are people planning to protest about?

Is it something to with people vandalising mini roundabouts? I mean, it makes the place look a bit untidy but it's not something I'm bothered enough by to go about protesting about it, they'll get bored with it eventually.

The 2 main ones will be in London. One is in support of UK unity organised by Tommy Robinson and the other is the anti-facist/anti-racist movement who are going to oppose the main protest and make it seem far-right/extremist. Smaller protests will probably happen all over the UK in local areas on the same day too.

Have a read of this:
Tommy Robinson’s protest will be taking place on Saturday 13 September and it is being dubbed as the “largest outdoor free speech event the UK has ever seen”.
The ‘Unite The Kingdom Free Speech Festival’ is part of the growing Unite The Kingdom movement. It says on its website: “Set to be the largest outdoor free speech event the UK has ever seen, this landmark day will bring together outspoken voices, political disruptors, and fearless truth-tellers from across Europe and the United States—uniting in a powerful stand for liberty, truth, and the right to speak freely.

“Leading the charge is Tommy Robinson—journalist, campaigner, and founder of Urban Scoop. As host, Tommy will anchor the event with his trademark grit and unfiltered honesty, introducing speakers and guiding a day that’s set to shake the political and cultural landscape.”

Tommy Robinson has made grand claims that the Free Speech Festival could become "the biggest thing this country's seen," suggesting it may draw hundreds of thousands of "patriots”. However, an anti-fascist group has vowed to “stop the far right” organising a counter-march in the capital on the same day.

Ahead of the protest Tommy Robinson wrote on X: “Urgent Call for Peace at the September 13th Free Speech Festival in London. No masks, no alcohol, no violence—this fight is too important to let agent provocateurs derail our movement. Please share this everywhere!!!”.

Tommy Robinson’s rally will begin around 11.30am with a march. Starting at Stamford Street in Southwark the march will end at Whitehall.

The route the march will take has not yet been announced, but central London is set to be very busy this Saturday. Tommy Robinson is encouraging protesters to catch trains to Blackfriar or London Bridge stations and make their way from there to Stamford Street. So it is likely these stations will be very busy on Saturday.

Britain is now a multi-cultural society after 50 years of social, ethnic, and cultural integration, and I'm happy with that to be fair as I come from mixed race parents (White English and Black West African). Yes I want the UK to be predominantly "British" and our own christian culture to still be recognised and have value but being "British" and patriotic these days doesn't mean shaving your head, getting tattoos promoting racism, or wearing a bomber jacket with tight blue jeans and red Doc Martens.

You can be British without following a violent career criminal such as Tommy Robinson Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon.

To be honest I'm not a fan or supporter of Tommy Robinson as I know he's just a racist thug deep down and I remember his involvement with the EDL, but, the event itself for British patriots and UK citizens has a lot of potential to bring back some unity in the UK and cause the Govt to start listing to what British people need.

I'm fed up with everyone protesting about Palestine, Israel, Ukraine, welcoming in bogus asylum seekers, and all sorts of other non-UK issues, so it's great to finally see the focus shifting towards UK/British agendas at last and hopefully us all uniting as a nation. We have been ignored for too long so now it's time for the start of "VIVA LA REVOLUTION". Hopefully this will be a truly massive turnout all across the UK that makes our Govts take notice of our own people for a change.

I think the best coverage will probably be on Youtube as there will be hundreds of bloggers with live feeds rolling all day from deep in the middle of the atmosphere of the event.

Not being pro-active now and not trying to push this current Govt to start taking positive action for the UK is not a good idea. If you stay quiet now and wait until the next GE all you will end up doing is suffering more and more for the next 4 years and then voting for Farage in the deluded vision that Reform will be your saviour. Farage and his minions have absolutely no experience in politics (and he has even admitted that himself now as he starts to realise all his current promises are just chitter-chatter to tell the British public what we want to hear whilst knowing deep down he can never actually achieve any of it).

Farage will be the death of this country if there's anything left of the UK/Britain by the time Labour have finished playing their games...and don't kid yourself into thinking Farage is capable of running this country.

I've just spent half an hour talking a friend out of taking his Missus's mobility scooter (she's not allowed to go - obviously)

I think it was when I said "What if it turns into a riot and you need to run away? Are you gonna go at scooter-pace, or are you gonna push it while you run?" that changed his mind. Laughing

Either way, he would be too scared of a rolling pin to the head if he left it behind and showed up at her place without it Mr. Green

Labour is already being the death of this country.

Personally I'd think it will be a refreshing change (hopefully) to have a party running the country that is full of people who have had actual jobs and management experience and are not just career politicians.

We don't pay them enough to attract people of a sufficiently high calliber.

Of course, there was Rishi Sunak...

Well, we shall see if the change you want actually turns out to positively reform the UK in the way ReformUK voters think (hope) leadership under Farage will be a good move for this country as he is almost assured now of becoming the next PM if Labour don't get their heads together within the next 12 months and start caring about British Citizens and the future of the UK.

I've just found out that Ant Middleton is one of the speakers on the day Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

That guy is pure positivity, he always makes sense, and it is hard for anyone who really cares about this country to disagree with him due to his background in British Special Forces. His speech is sure to stir up a lot of emotion and support with patriots and get the Govt seriously worried.

We'll see more of him unless he falls out of a high window.
With the AfD candidates mysteriously dropping dead at a rate 7500% more than would be expected, this is not altogether unlikely.

This country needs more people like him speaking out and taking the fight to the Govt for the dangerous social situation they are putting all our communities in and the constant ongoing problems they are creating and causing for British Citizens and UK Taxpayers due to uncontrolled illegal migration.

Assuming you're talking about Germany?...The shenanigans occurring over there are highly suspicious! Over here it's more likely that public speakers and social media influencers who raise controversial UK agendas that the Govt doesn't want to address will just get locked up and silenced and their right to freedom of speech taken away.

According to the Met Office website it's going to be typical British Autumn weather of overcast cloud with spells of sunshine and light showers. I doubt the weather will dampen the mood and spirit of the " Unite The Kingdom" event but I'm taking my brolly and waterproofs just in case Wink

I want reform to get in, it’s the only way the other parties will learn a lesson. The big parties had a scare this time but I’m sure with things going the way they are (crap government, overspending & (illegal) immigrants) they will get an even bigger scare or maybe even taught a valuable lesson in taking action / listening to the people.

Having said that, Reform don’t seem to be able get themselves together and wouldn’t do any better.

The other 2 parties don’t seem to have changed things so why not let someone else take the reins?
