Well, Kier hasn't repudiated Kemis question about tax rises this time round and those who think they are in the know say theres going to be a 2% income tax rise.

Every day I see a different "Rachael from accounts will do such and such..." with taxes. It seems like policy wonks just throwing shit at the wall and whatever sticks ends up in the budget.
This latest is touted as 2% on income tax but 2% off national insurance which might be the most sensible thing I've heard so far. The average worker sees no difference but businesses' wage bills will drop a little bit and anyone with income but no job, i.e. landlords, would supposedly get hit. I'm pretty sure it would also affect the self-employed, contractors and directors so not quite the rosy deal the Left would have you believe ____________________ Royal Enfield Continental GT 535, Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |
