Got a trip to France coming up about 9 days touring . I stuck some s23's on last year probably done about 500miles or so on them.

Any advice if they would last the trip or should I put some more touring focused tyre on ? If I should change them , any recommendations?

Depends how many miles you are going to do. I'd say 500 mile old tyres ought to be fine for 9 days of touring, but if you're doing solid 400 mile days every day then maybe not? Personally I aim for maximum of 200 mile days with most of the days being 150 miles or less.

Just change them out there if you need to to?

Dunno, how long do they normally last for you? Laughing

Touring can mean many different things. You might be planning on doing big mileage every day on motorways to cover as much of the country as possible or you might be planning to spend every waking hour of those nine days on twisty turny mountain roads.

You might be a 50kg midget or you might be 150kg and built like a brick shithouse.

Many factors. How long is a piece of string?
