Hello all

Had a wee offroad trip last weekend due to some gravel on the road and ended up knocking my front wheel out of line on a log that was hiding in the grass.

There appears to be a bend in one or both forks causing the front wheel to be out of alignment with the bars etc.

Are there any experts on here of the GSR 750 who can give me advice re new forks/cheaper alternatives/can I just source new tubes and the springs inside would be ok? Etc etc

The forks aren't leaking or anything. Just quite obviously not not aligned anymore.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Jim

All bike Engineering do replacement stanchions, that might be a decent option.

It may also be the forks are just twisted in the yokes though. You can loosen the bottom yoke pinch bolts and run the bike into a wall square-on (pushing it, not using the engine!) This should straighten the yokes a bit if that's what the issue is.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
