Hit there,

I recently bought a Cagiva Mito and it only came with the one key. Sooner or later I am going to lose it (sods law) and someone told me of a place that cuts motorcycle keys from the number given on the actual key itself. Does anyone know of this place, or how to contact them?

Many thanks

Hi

Think Cagiva use the same lock maker as loads of other companies (including Triumph), so the chances are that it will be easy to find a key blank in the local key cutters.

All the best

Not sure if they do do this, but I suspect only the manufacturer would, as it would be easy enough to get somebody else's number and get a copy of their key made.

Try a few local key cutters, one of them should have an appropriate blank key. Remember to try it when you get it done to save hassle later.

Just try some local lock smiths, I managed to get some ZX6R ones cut without any problems. Believe you can order them "offically" from the Cagiva but that'll cost lots more than a local shop.

Hi

Last keys I got cut were (I think) £7 for 2 from a local key cutting shop.

All the best

Sadly mate I don't know your location Crying or Very sad but for bikers who live
in London the best place for key cutting is Keys Galore 96
Gloucester Ave NW1. They even copied a GIVI top box key
for me!! Thumbs Up
