That's gonna be £12 for a new one, As I'm only 17 I don't have much cash. That's my petrol money for the week Sad

. Unless of course anyone has an old kawasaki Speedo cable hanging around collecting dust that they would want to sell for cheaper than £12 ? Razz

Where has the old one snapped?

My bike is somewhat odd, i was able to steal the inner cable out of an old speedo cable for another bike. chop 6 inces out of the end of it, peel back some of the wire then coat the end in epoxy and file it down.
Works perfectly and saved me £12 Thumbs Up

You could always manage if you've memorised the points in the rev range and what gear you're in. I know on my 400 it's 5krpm in 3rd for 30mph. Then 5k in 4th for 40. Makes it even easier that my exhaust makes a certain tone at the 5k mark too! Smile

Have you tried looking round ebay for one?
