Hey. Does anybody know any URLs for Online Motor insurance quotes. You know, the ones where you get asked loads of questions on the intanet and you press go and it estimates you a quote instantly.

Because my insurance runs out on the 12th and I need to get a quote so i can borrow sum money from my rents. Razz

Cheers!

Ben...

Don't use online insurance. It's way more expensive than you'll get it by ringing around insurance companies. Get a copy of bike trader and ring every single company in the back to get insurance quotes. Once you've got the cheapest ones ring back around the cheapest few saying "I've been quoted £xyz can you beat it?" and repeat until none will go any lower. It might take a good few hours but if someone offered you a few hundred pounds for a couple of hours work you'd accept it and you'll make big savings by doing this.

www.ciainsurance.co.uk and www.clickquote.com are good for getting a quote but the quotes are really only useful for comparative purposes between bikes, you can't based the amount you need for your insurance on that alone. Havn't you had a renewal quote from your existing insurance anyway?

I just rang around the insurance companies and got plenty of quotes and played them off against each other.

Time consuming but I thought it was worth it.
