Anyone had one of these bikes i realy starting to look at getting another dt125 lol talk about going backwards Laughing

Could i actually ride them any distance i took the dt to kent and back quite a few times, but my perents have moved so its st albans to hastings now Shocked

Edit: also whats the chances of being able to get some decent wheelys out of them guessing no where near as harsh a power curve as the 125's

I had a crm 250 mk1. With knobblies.

Comfort... no. My arse was aching after 10 miles on it, the seat is very hard and narrow.

Wheelies - it would have on decent tyres. Mine just kicked the back end out when it hit the powerband in any gear.

Other nice bits:

No battery, light kickstarter.

Very light.

Easiest gearbox I've ever ridden - never used the clutch for anything but pulling away in first, just pushed the lever up or down regardless of throttle opening etc. I wasn't keeping it long so I didn't care if I shredded the gearbox.

https://www.leisuretrail.co.uk/ is a good source of info for CRM's, however it seems to be a bit iffy at the moment.

With only 40bhp they are a nice soft engine, (compared to a highly strung 125) and TBM have reported bikes doing over 40,000km without any strip downs.

I've got a issue of TBM that has a large feature on the crm's, however its at home, and i'm not there...

I think the KDX is more "wild", but not as easy to live with.

Riding gently the crm did about 35-40mpg.

I think it was about a 2.5 gallon tank, so you should get 100 miles out of tank.
