I was really pleased to see the police had set up a trap for motorists who jump the lights at a junctions in Streatham (South London) for the last couple of days. I gave the copper a toot and a thumbs up and he looked really pleased. I just hope no bikers got caught, of course we never jump the lights (you wouldn't jump these ones!)

IMO jumping lights is much more dangerous that a bit of 'gentle' speeding. Glad to see the police doing something about it.[/b]

And another thing that pissed me off today, there was a guy on a red TL1000 who nearly knocked off a guy on an SV600 near the Oval. I've seen him a fair few times and he rides like an absolute arsehole. Yes he's quick but he has no consideration for other bikers, they are all just 'prey' to his macho fantasies. I thought we bikers looked out for each other - not him.

He works at FWR tyres in Kennington, and as I rode by he gave me a shit faced, look at me, aren't I hard, grin - wanker. What pisses me off the most is he was so close to knocking the other guy off. I nearly stopped to tell him what I thought but I expect I would have just got a mouthful. I don't think I'll go there for my tyres again.

The police have been busy up at Smithfield Market which is
a hangout for Couriers. The police set up in Lindsey street
but I never found out what they were looking for. May of
been Tax Discs again or giving cars "Free MOT'S" as they
are known.

This week they set up three days in a row.
