I was looking at getting one for myself!, I believe they are quite well made and are constructed with strong components but just not as "PERFECT" Fitting as some of the dianese or alpinestars gear out there but it is still quality where it matters I say go and try on a kit and see for yourself Very Happy

I've got an RST jacket and trousers (not sure what type exactly) and they seem pretty good. The jacket did its job in a low speed off as you'd expect it to. One thing with the trousers is there seems to be a lot of space inside where the knee protector is and usually once you've put the trousers on the knee protector is on your shins so you've got to fiddle with moving it up again which is annoying. The fit itself is quite good though.

Oh yeah, assuming the RST stuff you're talking about is similar to mine, it's worth noticing that they're not 100% leather all over and there is some material for example on the inside of the arms. Not a problem as far as coming off because it's not in places where you'd be sliding, but if you get caught in a little bit of rain these bits aren't in the slightest bit waterproof so when you arrive at your destination your arms will be soaked and the rest of you won't be too bad. Neutral

A friend of mine had an off wearing an RST suit.It was quite a slow speed highside which broke his elbow as he landed(can't blame the suit on that mind),the suit came through it OK with the stitching fine and only a couple of light scuffs.

Hi

Only experience with RST stuff is some gloves, and I am not impressed with the stitching on them.

All the best

I have to agree, I have some RST Dyno Gloves and the stitching went to sh*t after only 6 months.

I also have an RST Jacket and its great apart from one thing, the stitching on the zip at the front has come apart a little and i'll need to get it repaired.

Does make me wonder how the rest of it will hold up in a crash.

Hein Gericke kit is good value and excellent quality. It regularly scores high in product tests etc.

Thumbs Up

Thats one of the reasons i went for a Hein Gericke suit, the leather is thick, armour is good and after 3 years the stitching and general condition of the suit is holding up very well Thumbs Up

I have ladies RST 2 piece leathers and I think they are great, i had a low speed off and they did their job well.
The knees do seem to be very large but you get used to it and once on the bike it doesnt cause any problems. The fit for the rest of the suit is perfect.
