When I applied for my provisional licence ages ago, I added motorcycle entitlement, received it had the motorbike category on the back etc ready for sorting out my CBT. Never got round to doing it, and instead got my full car license. When I got it back, there is nothing on there about motorcycle entitlement and there was nothing on the forms (that I could see)

Will this be OK to use for my CBT or will I have to send it away and give them more money? Rolling Eyes

Your full car licence as I am aware also is classed as provisional for all other catagories, motorcycles included.

I will try and dig a DVLA link up to confirm it but I am pretty sure, but you could alway try and ring them.

Just asked a fellow from Bikesafe, and it is. Full car license is a bike's provisional license.

Read the back of the paper section of the licence, tells you on there.

I wondered the same thing. My old paper licence had all the stuff on it, was a bit confused when I traded it in. Dug out the paper attachment and it tells you on the back.
