Get insurance first, then you can ride it to the MOT station (providing its for a pre-booked test). Then with your insurance cert, your MOT and the log book, you can pop down the Post Office and get it taxed. Thumbs Up

To buy tax you need to be able to show a valid insurance cert. and your MOT cert. so get the insurance and then an MOT.

I take it by putting it back on the road you just mean that it has been off the road (SORN) for some time and needs to be roadworthy, and not putting a bike which (or isn't anymore) road registered on the road?

The act of buying tax will let the DVLA know that the bike is no longer SORN'd.

V5 = logbook!

Thumbs Up
