 |
|
Just a quick question.
Looking at sitting my theory test shortly so I can sit my bike test sooner rather than later, but, I have to sit ANOTHER theory test (only sat one for the car two years ago).
Anyway, do you have to sit ANOTHER hazard perception test as part of your bike theory test OR is it just the multiple choice questions?
If you do have to sit another hazard perception test, is it more specific to bikes or not?
Cheers in advance!

You've got to do both, its all one test and cant be done separately.
Good luck though! ____________________ Aprilia RSV Mille R Edwards Replica - Aprilia RS250 - Suzuki GSXR600 Supersport Race Bike |

I'm not really worried about it, 'cause I got pretty high pass marks in my car theory, just wondering what the difference is.
I can see the point of the different multiple choice part, but as for the hazard perception, well I have doubts as to its relevance if it is the same.
More money making schemes for the government if you ask me!!
Why isn't there just one overall theory test for bikes and cars - let's face it, it wouldn't do car drivers with no inclination of what it's like to ride a bike to know the dangers that bikers face! (IMO)

Get a practice cd from a bookstore...I bought the 'focus' one and the questions were identical, and I got about 90% of the ones from the disc in the REAL theory test....the hazard perception was VERY similar too.....
I was really worried about the hazard p...but in the end I got 62 out of 75 (44 is a pass). I just clicked at cyclists...pedestrians..parked vehicles...everything that made cautious, or would make me think about using my brake.
Good luck hun ! ____________________ Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow" |

yea to have to take both bits. The multiple choice is aimed very mush to the motorbike side of things ie "in what sequence should you perform an emergency stop" a. front brake, back brake, clutch, jump off. etc. I had a fair few on mantaining a bike. The hazard perception is a pain in the arse. A lot of them have to in a car behind a bike. Now are you supposed to click as the car driver or the bike rider????? I dont know. I failed on hazard perception clicking as the car driver .......best to get yourself a CD-rom or DVD with a practise session on. Thats what I have done. You cen get them from under a tenner on ebay or in shops like WHSmiths. Will be taking mine again soon.....
Best of luck |

You can do it either way. CBT or theory first. Good luck |
