Right, I'm about to rant and rave because of some crazy fucking bitch I encountered on my way to work this morning.

Now I don't know what the weather's like in the rest of the country, but up here in Glasgow, it's really, really foggy. There were parts of the road on my way to work this morning that you could hardly see your hand in front of your face.

So there I am about to pull up at the lights and I notice this big black BMW Z5 jeep thingy with no lights on. So, I pull up beside it and wave my hand to gesture it to roll it's window down and tell the snotty looking woman driving the thing that she has no lights on (and yes, I was polite)! Do you know what the stupid fucking cow said to me?

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked "AND" Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

I could have smacked her one!!!

I completely lost it! I started shouting and bawling like a fucking lunatic Embarassed Something along the lines of 'you'll end up having yourself and those two kids you've got stuck in back killed if not someone else you stupid fucking bitch'.

She just looked at me like I was crazy (wonder why) Rolling Eyes

I really need to learn to control my temper me!!!! Rolling Eyes

Sounds like you already do have control. The way I see it that daft cow has her super safe 2 tonne pile of shit wrapped round her, so as far as she is concerned she doesn't care if her lights are on.

If I were in your place I'd feel like dragging her from her car-house and f00kin her with a rusty spade!

Selfish bitch!

Ahh, but did you get her to turn her lights on? Razz
Seems like another example of how the people driving around in those bulletproof shopping trolleys can feel so safe and above the rest of the world that they don't consider anyone else's safety Rolling Eyes

Good on you for saying something, even if most of it was incoherent Wink
Cheers,
Rich

Do you know something Riktus - I wouldn't have cared less after that answer if she had put her stupid lights on not and to be honest, I would have laughed in the stupid cow's face if I had got further along the road to see her 'car come bus' wrapped round a bloody lampost!

Thumbs Up good for you
If it happens again Wink mention highway code rule 201
Quote:
You MUST use headlights when visibility is seriously reduced, generally when you cannot see for more than 100 metres (328 feet). You may also use front or rear fog lights but you MUST switch them off when visibility improves
and also rule 210

I can only imagine the depth of her arrogance - a BMW AND 4-wheel drive driver Evil or Very Mad

Oh, btw that rule 201 is also covered by the Road Vehicle Lighting Regulations (RVLR) regulations 25 and 27. I believe that makes it a prosecutable offence.

I wonder if she'd have the same attitude if you'd been male...riding a big white Honda...with reflective stripes and a blue light? Confused Wink Smile

Don't let it put you off, FA! I regularly tell people about broken tail lights etc and they are usually grateful to be told.

I guess she was having a bad day, and took it out on you.

Be a bit sympathetic - just think of the car she has to drive while you're having fun on your bike.

Laughing

When driving the car, I usually let people know these things too Sadie, but never have I had someone with an attitude like that.

It's not putting me off at all, I just couldn't believe her shitty attitude!!!!!

Sadly, in her tank, she's more likely to cause the premature end of someone else's life before her own. Stupid people should not be allowed 4x4's.

In that kind of vehicle she doesn't need to put her lights on, so it's not her problem. All she needs is a hose to clean the blood, snot and gristle off the bull bars when she gets home. Thumbs Down

thing is though - it could be one of you guys and girls out there that gets wiped out just think: your carefully driving though the fog with your lights on and all of a sudden there is a huge bmw jeep thing stopped in front of you - ok you might be able to stop but chances are if its that foggy the ground is going to be wet and you plough into her! you and your bike are totaled and then another car comes the same way as you did sees you last second and crushes you against the bmw - harsh!

I'd have been awfully tempted to run my handlebar into the side of the stupid bitch's blingtractor due to its low visibility. Of course the only answer to her ensuing road rage would have to be...

"...and?"

No, people who don't drive off road don't need or deserve a 4x4. They are designed for off roading, not general commuting to and from school after they dropped off the kids. Evil or Very Mad
