hello everyone, just joined the site. converted scooter rider. i have just brought a tdr 125 1992 import. its full power and only does 70mph, it seems to red line very easy, looking at the back wheel sprocket, its a 51 tooth sprocket, could this be the reason why its only doing 70mph. Thanks in advance.

They are only restricted by having the power valve pinned closed, to change it to full power it's just a case of turning the power valve so it's fully open then pin it, or you could fit the YPVS system which make the power valve open at around 7,000rpm which gives a meaty boost of power and more torque at the lower revs.

Your top speed should be around 80-90mph full power.
