Yeah I have bought loads of stuff from the trade stands there. The show organisers want to crack down on it, because it isn't a car boot sale, its a Bike show.
If the trade stands are there this year then I would say that it would be worth holding off. The kit is usually last years old stock and perfectly OK, just not in this year's colours or whatever.
However there are always better bargains at the 'road racing and superbike show' at Ally Pally. I think this is now called 'The London Motorcycle show'.
This is usually held in January. ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade

I hope to find some bargains this year, it will be the first time I have ever gone. I hope to find some reasonably priced boots and waterproof Cordura trousers. ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it.
