Hi

Found this:-

https://www.recordbreakers.co.uk/

On the 5th of December at Silverstone they are aiming for a record number of Santas on bikes. The current record is 5443. Tis for Charity. Read that you need to raise about £100 for charity.

Could be a different forum outing.

All the best

Keith

Silverstone is near Northampton (ish) and Snetterton is in Norfolk. There you go, look at the travelling you've saved Very Happy

Who thinks these records up?

I mean who first sat down and said lets set a record for the number Santas on motorbikes? Shocked

Could be fun though. Very Happy

Not sure what they mean when it says that "The first 3000 bikers will recieve a luxury printed felt Santa suit."

Does that mean that later applicants have to sort out a costume for themselves or just that the first 3000 get to keep their costumes?

If a bunch of us wanted to do it, I reckon we could get a ream of red fabric and lots of cotton wool pretty cheaply and knock up a few santa suits, it's not like they need to last long. Smile

Someone gonna ring and get more details? Just think of the comedy ride up there. Cool

Does anyone know if pillions are ok for this? And if so is it £100 per bike or per person?
