Well, I picked it up last night; my new Suzuki GSXR750 K3.

The ride back was fun - 60 miles along dark, unlit, twisty A roads that I don't know, which were wet. This coupled with the horrible drizzle that I couldn't clear from my visor. Anyway, here are some pictures. The bike's still dirty from last night.

My garage is now stupidly busy. My girlfriend and I currently have five vehicles between the two of us...

Funnily enough, not as loud as I thought. I was expecting the "PLEASE NICK ME, POLICEMAN" sign to light up when it was started but at low revs it's not hugely loud. When it gets going though... that's another matter... Twisted Evil

Be careful, scientists have proven that cans like akrapovic can lead to the disease Grinlikeabastarditus.

I'm waiting for an ART hugger to arrive, but apart from that no other plans yet - I'm skint! I was hoping for some decent weather today as I haven't taken it our properly yet but (just for a change) it's bloody wet! Crying or Very sad

Stupidly busy?
Then there's the 4 bikes on the driveway and the Van at the bottom of the road (should be getting a normal car soon as well).

I'll swap Wink.

Enjoy your bike anyway Smile.

Laughing Fair enough! Although my girlfriend's just got a new car (and is yet to get rid of her old one) so we now have three bikes and three cars between us!

As AcIdBuRnZ says, they're mostly blue and white over here. I like that colour, but I like this better because you don't see many of them.

As for the speed... took it out for the first time yesterday (properly anyway, it was finally dry) and it goes like fuck! The pure grunt from virtually no revs is immense - it just pulls like a train and doesn't seem to stop accelerating Very Happy Taking it easy for a bit though, the last thing I want to do is get too eager out of a corner and highside it into a hedge!

Dear Jamie,

I have it on good authority that you have not been a particulary good boy and only want a 750cc sports bike so that you may exceed speed limits at will, with a flick of the wrist.

Love, Santa.

Very Happy

lol, yeah it's the perfect bike, the 600 requires to much gear changes, for the real power it must be kept at high revs, while the 1000 is very heavy and is harder to handle, the 750 is the perfect bike i say.
