Looking at getting brake lines for my G2, any suggestions?

I've been looking at Goodridge's and HEL's, any first hand experience would be really useful. Ta Very Happy Cool Wink

Seems to be some good deals on ebay . I would suggest that whatever you choose they are stainless steel fittings.

Buy from www.demon-tweeks.co.uk and if you say you're from MCN Ninjas you get 10% off. I fitted some Goodridge ones to my ZX6R and had no problems.

Hi

They are pretty much all the same. Do not buy any with alloy fittings (they corrode) and try and get some with a plastic coating as it should be less prone to this kind of problem.

All the best

Keith

Just had a set of HEL lines delivered. About £55 for the 2 fronts, inc postage. Mine are clear plastic coated, and they come with all fittings and banjo washers etc.

Is there any major difference between the different hose arrangements (ie one separate hose to each caliper from the lever, or one hose to one piston, which then goes over to the other)?
These are next on my upgrade list too.

They stock all Kawasaki parts.

Cant say yet mate as ive not fitted them. ive got some EBC HH pads to put on as well, but need some 5.1 fluid first.
Got them from HEL direct, they were £56 inc vat and delivery. Swaged fittings better than the goodridge screwed on banjo's AFAIK. can have them coated any colour you like, and you can have 2lines from the Master cyl to the calipers like i did, or a single line to the rhs caliper and a link line to the left caliper. They look very well made, and come with stickers/instructions etc.

I've got Goodridge hoses (coutesy of Ste) and EBC HH pads on mine. The only thing I would say is that the HH pads ain't much cop in the wet, especially the first time or 2 you need to use them. My calipers are desperate for a rebuild and even with that I've got plenty of stopping power with 2 fingers.

I've used Cradley Kawasaki a few times, they are very good. Generally its next day delivery and the one time they got something wrong it was sorted quickly.
