I am thinking of selling my trusty Thundercat but I am unsure as to what it is worth. Any suggestions please?

It's a 1996 N Reg, 16,000 miles, in very good condition for age, no accident damage, tax for a year, mot til June. Red and white colour. Totally standard.

Cheers!

It'd depend on when you sold it.

At this time of year I would estimate anything from £1300 to about £1600.

Hope that helps.

Have a look on Bike Trader to see what people are asking for ones in a similar condition to yours, remember people generally ask 10% more than they expect to get to allow room to haggle and prices are lower at the moment than they are in summer.

I'd say £1500 for it. But as said at this time of year it's not the best time.

I quite like the thundercat, If i can't afford a R6 then i might go for one of these, If not a ZXR750. Just curious of others opinions on them. Smile

I had a cat for a while. It is an excellent bike and very underrated. It is a bit squidgy (suspension) if you talk in sports bike terms but none the less has a great motor with excellent mid range for a 600. good weather prtotection and a very good allrounder and pretty fast too! It will hold its own with most 600's.

i would say its worth more than what people are saying

I bought one a few months ago after watching the thundercat prices for a few months. Most cats in your condition are selling for about 2500 private and 2700-3000 trade

stick it in a few places for £2250 and i bet you willl get some interest
