Will it work?

Has anyone tried this before, i think the CR125 engine is liquid cooled so that poses no problem, not sure if it will fit in the frame or not. I'm just thinking about it, it could be a pretty cool winter project. I used to have a KX125 and it was rapid, much faster than the NS125R. I supose it's the way the engine is designed. The CR is designed for performance and to be raced, the NS has to be restricted by power/weight ratio.

Any comments will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Adam

I'm sure it'd be possible to get the motor in there, (with adjustments to the mounting points) but then you've got the challenge of getting a decent custom pipe made up for it. Its most likely possible to do, but look at maintenance costs. I'm sure it'll need plenty of rebuilds and top ends. If you've got the time and money then give it a go, might come out quite fun. Smile
