Car body repair shop or small country tractor/farmers car repair shop. Not a big job but you need to find someone with a TIG welder that knows how to use it. Stainless can be tricky.

We found a guy in a small town on a run out to the highlands who did this for a tenner (the whole stainless header had split off):

Never judge welding by the surface appearance, that weld is structurally sound and has held out for at least 5,000 miles that I know of.

He actually did a very good job considering what he had to work with. He managed to weld a thin stainless header using mild steel wire in a MIG. The header had kind of shattered so on the other side so there was a sizeable gap to fill too. No holes blown anywhere. Got us out of a major fix.

I did some beautiful tidy looking welds when I was making some luggage racks for my bike. The whole lot fell apart as I was bolting it on. I took it apart and redid it 'seagull shit' style to much greater effect.

If my dad saw that he would probably shit himself, all of his welds have to be x rayed, think 6 times is normal but they have decided to do it 9 times at this company, when my nikon exhaust snapped in half he took it to work and did a quick weld on it and its lasted til now, must get a pic of it.

Welding is easy, welding properly is bloody difficult!

To make that look better you need a grinder! all the stuff thats above the surface is actually doing nothing, its only the bit thats actually in the gap thats under any strain.
