While Mr Jamez might well be right, as the engine has junked its cam chain I suspect the most likely problem is a bent valve rather than serious valve seat damage. The seat might still need replacing if you are doing the job properly, but just a quick replacement of the valve (and grind the new one in) will probably fix this.

Given the hole into the valve gear area I would be tempted to try and find a new head instead though.
