Great fun, a yamaha sr125, small, very non sexy, but a really fun day.

I passed, I think it's fairly difficult to fail.

now I can get out on the road on my little MZ.

Well done mate!

You are quite right, you have to be pretty dangerous to 'fail', as it isn't really a test as such. It tends to be those who are very nervous, or those arrogant little ped boys we all know and love.

Welcome to the fun, when are you planning to go for your test proper? Having just done mine, it's basically the same as the CBT, done to a higher standard.

I will do my test eventually, not in any amazing hurry. I'm sure I'll want more power soon, at the moment my little 2 stroke is fast enough.

I was wanting more out of the yamaha sr, had that thing flat out doing about 65 and it wasn't pleasant either!

went on a fairly substantial ride on the roads aswell, I'm glad I'm a car driver, if I was a 16 year old on the road for the very first time I'd be shitting myself.

Excellent news. Yeah, I've been a car driver for 11 years before I got my bike license.... it goes a long way to keeping you alive.

Good news, and yes, you will want something faster, give it time Laughing

3 times, you must be something reeeaall special.

I've failed 2 car tests, and it's really really disheartening.

I failed my CBT the first time round, I was, well, I had the shakes. Like Id had a massive bender the night before.. Its an experience I dont want to repeat. Nearly dropped my bike in the process of my first CBT.

But, the second I knew exactly what to expect, and it all clicked into place pretty well.

Id say that you learn more being on the road in a fortnight than you do in your CBT, in regards to safety, anyway.

Good point, I had a heavy night Sick the night before my cbt, and didn't get much sleep.

It's a bad idea boys and girls.

Don't go drinking the night before your CBT. Rolling Eyes
