As the mechanic replaced my rear tyre yesterday, he noticed the rear pads were worn, to the point where they need to be replaced. Any recommendations for a particular make of pad? I want excellent quality, without paying over the odds......

I've always used EBC HH Sintered pads and have found them to be good, they're not over priced either.

If you order from Demon Tweeks and say that you're from MCN Ninjas forum you get a discount, if I remember correctly it is 10%. Don't worry about the fact you've got a Gixxer, if they ask just say that you have two bikes or that you use MCN Ninjas as you know people on there or something, have ordered parts for my TL1000R using the MCN Ninjas discount before with no problems. Thumbs Up

Personally I use Ferodo platinum pads, main reason is that EBC
pads are disc killers, with Ferodo discs last longer. (however I
do use EBC brake discs because they are cheaper than Honda)
