The Cat (part1)

Hi everyone. It was a perfect day, I started the bike up after a five day rest and started warming up. I was actually starting to get a hang of things ( I'm a new rider). I started to try and take some sharp turns at fast speeds started to get the hang of speed and the gears started to feel very very easy and instinct was kicking in. Suddenly out of nowhere a black and white cat decides to cross the street! It scared me to death, I really don't know what would of happened I was just afraid of falling off or something. I swear i saw the bike right next to the tires but I have no idea how i missed it. I'm curious did this happen to anyone before? If yes then did you fall off?

I've had dozens of cat incidents where the stupid little furballs (I like cats in reality, but they can sure be dense) dash out at the last second. Because I ride with two fingers on the brake at all times I can usually just give a quick little tug and that's enough to avoid them. But I don't let it bother me as there isn't anything you can do to avoid those situations other than burble home at 15 mph .

I had some little rat-dog run out at me in an attempt to bite my tires..... now that is being dense.
