What a weekend!

How was everyones weekend? Enjoy the sunny sunday everyone? I hope so!

Friday: Out with workmates on the town

Saturday: Party & fireworks at my house, got to bed at 6am

Sunday: Went with my mate to buy him a k1 gsxr thou in the morning then off to boxhill in the afternoon.
Boxhill was pretty packed guess everyone was glad to see a sunday with blue skies. Then went out for a ride around the local towns when i spy a cbr rr in sutton highstreet, he cracks off a little wheelie so i did too next thing i know we're both racing down the a217 at stupidly fast speeds and wheelying away from every set of traffic lights!
Then just as me and him went our seperate ways i spotted 3 suzi gsxr's, 2 1000cc's and a srad 600. Well next thing i know one of the gsxr1000's shoots infront just begging me to race him! It would have been rude not to! He was damn fast, and we were side by side for a while but he got me right at the end then gave me a thumbs up as we went in different directions.

If any of those bikers are on these forums, cheers for making my sunday afternoon! Very Happy

All in all, a top notch weekend. Can't wait till the summer again when it'll be dry every weekend!

The weekend was a bust here and I haven't been on the bike in about a week. I cut my thumb badly and couldn't put it in a glove, plus the weather last week was horrendous. So my story features an enjoyable if short ride on an autumn Monday.
Got back on the bike this morning, gingerly slipping my abused appendage into my glove. Did the 5 minute journey to work. Laughing I didn't know 5 minutes could feel so good. To be honest I felt like skipping work and just riding out for a few hours - it's a beautiful clear, sunny day here, which doesn't often happen on Fife's south coast in Autumn.
You ever get that want-to-get-off-and-hug-your-bike feeling? Embarassed Very Happy Looking forward to lunch time...

This weekend Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down

Saturday morning, slob mode, afternoon, take one renault clio with no cylinder head as last weekend I removed it to have some valves replaced. Fit head and lovingly put together. The darkness fell work stopped, evening I read a book and had a smoke.

Sunday morning, remove treacle like oil fit new shiny oil filter and fill with fresh lube, new plugs and coolant ready for winter, finished off by lunchtime then it was ready to start, buzz the ignition and vrooooom, off she went, sounds so sweet and I did smile Very Happy Very Happy, but then, Shocked clunk, clunk, wtf was that?? switch off, light benson and think, spin crank with spanner, felt so smooth Thumbs Up start it up again and let it run, after allot of thinking and a brew a conclusion was made, the water pump was f00ked. Go home slob mode sunday evening, a job to be done, next weekend, cars Thumbs Down Thumbs Down

Hmm let me think..

Saturday - seeing as weather was decent, I finished de-rusting and painting my CG125 which I got off ebay a few weeks ago for dirt cheap. Doesnt look too bad now. Went for a short ride too but to nowhere special. Rolling Eyes

Sunday - Done my 4th week of rider training. Had quite a good ride out, corrected a few riding faults. (But still have plenty more Laughing ) After that, I just watched the GP and lazed about, making the most of half term. Wink

Great weekend! Thumbs UpVery Happy

Friday: Went to party in Guildford. Very good. Twisted Evil

Saturday: Spent all day sleeping, went to a big bonfire/fayre on saturday night. Smile

Sunday: Went to boxhill in the morning. Maximum sympathy to the bloke who slipped on a leaf on the Gixxer thou in the car park. Sad
Sunday evening spawned warfare on the streets of west byfleet. No where was safe from a ambush of eggs and flour. Shifty It was like urban warfare with eggs! The state of my mates car was worthy of god status. Great fun weekend. Best for ages! Thumbs UpMr. Green

Best highlight of the weekend was my Saturday Ride out - unfortunately alone as it was spontaneous.

Finally perfected my wheelies Thumbs Up so all is good, and i managed to shag my rear tyre doing burnouts Thumbs Down

Other than that, i've been frantically revising for my P1 resit - must get 99%, or bust Thumbs Down

Chilled this weekend, I didn't have to work on saturday. Woohoo Cool Wandered around the shops in chester on saturday and fixed the holes in my down pipes (it was like a pepper pot lid) fixed the fan and washed it and tightened the chain on sunday. Drank beer on friday, saturday and sunday nights. Listened to metal and enjoyed not working. The simple thing are sometimes the best Mr. Green

Friday: Sell what felt like a million copies of San Andreas and yet didn't get chance to play it Thumbs Down , get home quick shower and get straight to the pub for a few drinks with the lads. The few drinks turned into a few more and ended in the local curry house for a 'special biriani' Thumbs Up .
Saturday: Sell another million copies of San Andreas aswell as turn away hundreds of nine year old kids who were trying to buy it, start to hate San Andreas and I still haven't had chance to play it Evil or Very Mad . Get home, quick shower, get kitted up in Predator fancy dress and get out to the local pub to meet people before we head off to a local charity fancy dress thing. In the pub some guy tells me I can earn an easy tenner by scaring his missus (who is apparently scared of the predator). I decided that it would be good for a laugh so he walked me to the back door of a house and told me to just walk in, so I did. Walked into the kitchen to see his wife and her friend sitting at the table drinking wine, they both scream as they look up to see a stranger in their house, let alone someone in full fancy dress. Quickly turns to laughter and two kids run downstairs to see the predator in their kitchen Laughing . Was a good laugh and earned me an easy 10 quid Very Happy . Went to the fancy dress event got extremely hammered and M (dressed as Alien) an myself bagged us the prize of a meal for two at the local pub (white bear) Thumbs Up .
Sunday: Play footy in the morning (great way to get rid of any excess alcohol) and lose the game 5-0 Thumbs Down but get some great food in the pub after the game. Get a few trick or treaters just as it starts to get dark before we don our fancy dress again and head to our local pub just down the road for the Halloween karaoke. Have another good laugh and get drunk again. Once again we win a meal for two (at the Duke William this time) for our fancy dress costumes Thumbs Up.
Altogether a great weekend, isn't Halloween great, and we still have to go for our free meals Mr. Green .
Sorry but not a mention of a bike anywhere in this post (tax ran out and decided to SORN the YZF, still have the VFR to play about on though).
Predator costume
Alien costume

Yep, bit of old rubber backed carpet, some left over fibreglass, paper mache and some garden hose. Oh yeah and a few LEDs and paint for effect. Cool
Cheers for the compliment. Karma
